History
The La Soledad Cooperative was founded 26 years ago by Franciscan Father Salvador Rangel, with the support of the municipal government.
A group of women took on this project, doing the work that was previously only done by men. This has brought the participants social status, a decent income, and a connection to the proud ceramics tradition of Acámbaro, Guanajuato.
