El Jardín de los Milagros is set in a former hacienda in the neighborhood of San Javier, dating back to 1650. Behind purple and white stone walls, among zapote trees, gardens and patios with fountains and even a colonial mine, El Jardín de los Milagros features signature cuisine with a passionate mix of flavors and colors. The difference here is the permanent presence of the chef, who also happens to be the owner.
El Jardín de los Milagros has had the pleasure of serving quite a number of celebrities, including Oliver Stone, Carlos Santana, Silvia Pinal, Eulalio Ferrer and Irvin Kershner, teacher and friend of George Lucas.
In his most recent visit to Spain, our chef was invited to Los Viñedos del Vero, in Barbastro, for a day of Mexican-Spanish-Mediterranean signature cuisine, meals which combine superbly with the wines of the river Vero region. His stay ended in San Sebastián, in the kitchen of one of the finest Spanish chefs today, Juan Mari Arzak.
"I've had too many pleasures to count, but I have no doubt that the ones that have affected me most are my family, my brothers and sisters, fishing, and cooking."
"I cook to put food on the table... to create emotions... to create excitement.
