On one of the main streets in the city of Guanajuato you'll find an 18th century mansion, site of the first bakery of the district known as Antiguo Vapor. Now, after being remodeled, the mansion has become the Hotel Antiguo Vapor, "a place of many memories."
The Antiguo Vapor is just a few steps from the museum Alhóndiga de Granaditas, of great importance during the Mexican War of Independence, and the Diego Rivera Museum-House. It is a small hotel featuring nine spacious guestrooms and personalized attention by its owners.
