Aurora came from an idea I had when I was a child of projecting films in the streets and plazas of Guanajuato, to be able to bring cinema closer to people, without the restrictions of a closed space such as a movie theater, and, of course, free. Why horror movies? Well, it's a genre that has been underappreciated by  the critics, and that's a reason for us to rescue some gems of horror, and to open up this space to any and every artistic expression developed along these lines.

Aurora is a week long event held in the month of February. 2008 will mark its third year.
